虽说艺术届很好笑好玩。。。但是细想之下，也不见得没有道理。。。。“艺术就在你脑子里发展”——这句话对极了。艺术——不管是文字，绘画，音乐，乌托邦，天堂。。。。。——不都是在脑子里萌芽、生根、成长，最后绽放出花朵来了么。。。。越来越信奉生活就是艺术，一切都是艺术，形式是你的表达的概念的皮，而关键要看的是不是你有颗敏感的艺术的心。。。。
赫斯特认为，真正的创新艺术是来自于概念的，并不是来自于制作之上。赫斯特是一个能源源不断产生新想法的人，自然而然地他也就成为了一名艺术家。“艺术就在你的脑子里发展，”赫斯特说：“如果你说出一些有趣的话，这些话可能成为一件艺术作品的主题，我会把它写下来。艺术可以随时随地产生，它是你对周边事物的反应。有很多的想法我这些年都一直在努力，希望能最终实现，例如怎样在一家画廊里面制作出一道彩虹。我总是拿着一张长长的作品主题单，也总有很多关于展出的各种各样的想法，同时，我也有很多还没有想好题目的作品。”
